Moin Landlubbers!
Again the 2nd place in Phalia...at the 2nd MTB Cup Hochspeyer
a race of the MTB Cup Saar-Phalia. Here, the organizer, Ken Bloomer
from Crema Cycles ( www.cremacycles.de ), made up a 3km long cross-country
bike round-course on the grounds of the single-trail and technical-PARCOURS
park of Hochspeyer, with lots of single-trails, root passages
and hard and damp ascents.
After the start and one turn on the sport-field, you went on a
fast downhill part to the first root passages, narrow turns and
single-trails downhill parts and this damp ascents, which I pushed
up every round for round. While here in my race with 30 starters
were as well lots of younger guys, who started a bit earlier,
women and juniors shared the course, you had all the time bitter
and fierce fights for your age-group positions.
After 6 rounds and a time of 00:58:37h I finished 2nd with one
minute back on the first. While I rode after the race for a cappuccinpmto
Kaiserslautern, the others guys( 70 riders of the men, master
˝) fighted on narrow trails for the placements. Finally the winner
was Stefan Knopf from the team of Bike-sport Rhein Neckar…
