Ahoy Pirates,

My new bike arrived a few week ago, and of course I had to test it immediately. It ´s almost as fast as a rocket. I didn´t think, that there´s such a great difference between alu and plastic. A little bit more than on a MTB and riding it, is pure fun. Than my girl-friend said, we should go on holidays, we went for two weeks to „Lake Gardo“ and had even luck with the weather and had only sun. Shortly after the “Brenner “… and than….the sun came out… First of all, the holidays were for just chiling, but I also took a few rides with Kerstin of the Rotwild-team, of course short ones….;-) Riva is a perfect mountain terrain, but for myself I like more the roots of Hamburg, maybe because I rode a “ fully “ for the first time and the constantly bobbing up and down took all my strength reserves. Doesn´t matter – coffee and ice-cream compensat it again, next time I´m here is for a marathon and maybe for the Trans-Alp.
