If there is plenty of dust on the bikes in the cellar, you gonna fetch the ski-waxing-iron out of the cupboard and than winter become to Bavaria.

Well, on we go, ski´s in Andi´s car and 4 Bavarian Pirates(Andi, Markus, Toni and myself) made their way up for a one day tour to the Wilden Kaiser ( Scheffau, Austria )

Somehow and somewhere in the ski-lift, we got an idea, that we would try to get as much altitude meters as possible, before, yeah, just before the Apres-Ski…

Andi showed us by skiing what he´s made off and overtook every one on the slope. No way, of course the with on her broom was faster !!! This time, there were no trophy for Andi by doing slalome. We got really motivated by the ability of Andi and the goodmood of Toni. We got our strength this day by eating our standard doping: yeast dumplings and cut up and sugared pancake with raisins and reached on the final down hill part the faboulus number of 10,000m of altitude…

...and so, we could really enjoy the last way down hill...

...just to prepare for another long night of party:

Toni, Andi, Markus and myself really satisfied at the Apres-Ski: A really successful season-opener! Let´s get it started a wonderful skiing and cycling year of 2010!!!

On this picture, Markus already got the future vision of the season of 2010. We all got some wet eyes, when we thought about the coming year together: with a common ski-holidays, MTB several days durations in Zillertal and the Bavarian Forests, the TRASNALP and lots more…

We all wish you Pirates a wonderful Happy and injured free New Year with lots of fun of course...
