So, we made our way to Lanzerote in a machine built by Mr.
Boing to follow the signs. When we arrived I borrowed me a
bike after two rainy days. This wasn´t very easy, because
it wasn´t only me who had the dreams of strange signs, but
many other triathletes as well. So, finally I got a bike from
Lanzerote-Bikes and made my way to follow the signs.
I made my way thru deserts of lava…
Passing wind mills, and everybody knew, they´re everywhere,
where is wind, and there were lots of him.
passing stormy coast shores
and savage figures
There´s also almost the same kind of ball on Mallorca
I´ve been also in Nazareth...
There were an ivy running circuit in the hotel, about 5x 150m...J
We also had a pool about 40m, in the seperated back part.
After I found all signs of the island with a lot of front
wind and many up hill parts, as well with front wind, I finally
found some time to relax under palm trees
another Pirate relaxed himself by riding slipstream, not a
bad idea, but the main thing is, let´s hope he saw all the
signs as well…
We were accommodated in the Hotel Beatriz Costa & Spa in Costa
Teguise. The hotel is very quiet, the food was allright. The
rooms are quite big and the floor is covered with a sound
absorbing carpet. It was only 1km to the next town, by cab
about 2,50€ or by a free hotel bus. You could swim in the
40m hotel pool or in the ocean( with wetsuit) Also the starting
point for the bike tours was allright ( To rent by Lanzerote-Bikes
: Felt or at the Bike-Station : Scott). We had mostly good
asphalt, sometimes a little bit bumpy. We had a good running
course by the water to Arrecife, about 16km and to the other
direction, just pure nature, but to extend the course, not
bad.
