At the 27.06.2010 we travelled to Nauders, for the 3-Country-Giro.

The weekend before I trained a bit at the Mont-Ventoux in France just to get myself some fitness for the 3-Country-Giro It was so wonderful there, the first day the mistral was real tough, but all this brings you the fitness. Back from the Mont-Ventoux I drove on Friday to Nauders, just to ride an easy tur there on Saturday. Sunday morning at 6:30AM was the start for the 168km and 3300m of altitude. There were 3000 participants on the start, but there were also a smaller, shorter course. Weather and my fitness worked, so I crossed the finish line after 6:39h in Nauders. It was so hot that day, tso you didn´t had to pull on a jacket on the Stifserjoch in 2700m. It was a wondeful weekend and the Pirates, I think, cam eback into the spotlight again and showed the other who is a good rider. Hoist the colors until the next event. Greetings Marcus
