At the 8th of august was the 4th run of the German Bike Masters,
in Neustadt/ Weinstraße( Wine road) on my schedule. I didn´t knew
the course before, but lots of participants told me, that it would
be the contest with the largest amount of single-trails in Germany(
bitumenfraction of only 3% and less). So, be well prepared with
you and your stuff.
The weather even was allright that day and stayed dry, the start
was at 9:15o´clock.
The course was great, really ambitious and changed constantly.
After 2:47h I finished the 53km long with 1300m of altitude course
as 48th of 395 starters and in my age-group I got the 12th place
from 151. On Sunday the 15th of august, I´ll start for the third
time at the Vaude-Trans-Blackforest.
