, I´m just running the Riesenbecker sixdays, 140km in 6 days and with a huge number of altitude. Just after 2 days, my legs became a little bit sour, but I´m in good shape and feeling good. I ran this event two years ago as well and at this time I´m 18min faster than in 2008. The 1st stage of 6 is 22km long. The Riesenbecker sixdays started on Saturday at 14:00o´clock on the Dalfsenplatz in Hörstel-Riesenbeck. Than we´re heading towards some smaller villages passing Dörenthe and had to pass a hill over a distance of 2,5km just opposite of the botanic garden. Because of the flea market the finish line was on the city hall market. Surrounded by the Tobi´s of Berlin, the Lunatic insects of Franfurt and some Cheerleader´s the runners were celebrated. On Sunday the 9th of may the runners started at the Ludwigs school in Ibbenbüren at 2:00pm, we met the first drumming band, the “AKKA” in Brochterbeck, just to pass them and to run further up the mountain towards Tecklenburg. Steeply downstairs we went on the Hexenpfad ( Witch path), it is like a magnet or attraction pole for viewers and supporters. Shortly before the runners had to get upstairs again to the “ Himmelreich( Kingdom of heaven)“ heading for the youth hostel to climb and pass the last peak. The hardest of all stages ended up directly in downtown of Tecklenburg. Today I needed 1:52h, about 10min faster than two years ago. Greetings Mike
