The
„ German baggage“ with the head coach and us, the U17 and U19
riders, arrived one week earlier before the race in France. We
did an exercise unit, at the famous “ Mont Ventoux”.
On Sunday the Roc D`azur started in Frejus/ Cote d´Azur
The most magnificant race, I´ve ever rode. You ride with warm
temperatures side by side with the ocean. The course was 22km
long and sometimes really technical hard, even the head wind was
hard. And also of the thorns on the race track, my rivals suffered
from
Luckily I had really good tyres from our spnsor “ Continental”.
The Race-King 2.2 went really good, even on sand and I got no
puncture. After the start, I was able to stay in the front group
and finished on the 8th place, better than I expected.
It was a great end of the season 2010.
