Bastard weather,

After I decided myself to start in this criss-cross season, in the 2nd senior class. This 2h MTB-race right outside the city-limits of my home town, crossed my way. Well, apart of the fact of the bastard weather, the length of the race and that after some time, I wasn´t able to see anymore, it was quite a good exercise. 50 participants of all classes started together. I´m well known as a good starter and so I rode the first 5 rounds of 12 with the fast ones in the first group. After about an hour, I lost lots of my strength and I had to slow down for the last 2 rounds, so that even Ron, would have passed me ;-) ( sorry Ron). At the end I finished with a time of 2:20h and crossed the finish line on the 3rd overall place, totally exhausted. But luckily, the others were exhausted as well... Greetings Dirk
