Last MTB-race and first CycloCross-race,

At the 19th of october we drove to Schöningen, for the National Championships of Lower-Saxony, okay I just live here, but I start for Hamburg and my goal was not to finish on the 4th place, but all the race over I was on the 4th place and so… ...right before the last downhill passage I passed the 3rd place and with 4 seconds before the 4th I finished this race on 3rd place. National Champion became Volker Lutz before Andre Zamponi and at the pro´s class my coach won, Fabian Brzezinksi before Andre Kleindienst. My first cross race I rode in Harxbüttle. I t was the first run of the Panther Cup and also, the German Champion Rene Birkenfeld, participated. Because I start in the pro-class at the cross-races, I thought of being lapped, but than I went really good, better than I thought, with my new Cannondale CAADX and the new wheels from Robby K.. This bike is really fast, and I wasn´t lapped in my first race and finished on the 7th place, even a top10-placement in the first cross-race. I hope, it will stay like that or getting better in the next months Greetings, Thomas Z.
