Moin Moin,

on the 16th of may I started at the 10th annual Bikemax MTB-marathon in Siedelsbrunn/ Odenwald on the middle distance with 50km and 1000m of altitude. In the morning is was quite freezy with about 6 degrees but at least plus, but it didn´t rain… The event started on a day earlier with the kids race. The course on Sunday was muddy according to last year, where it had been really dry. The marathon is coined by a huge amount of single trails of about 70% and of course with some nice hard uphill parts. Even I felt a little bit better after suffering on a cold, but after all it was something like a false conclusion, I noticed it later, because I was half an hour slower than last year and was passed by almost everyone. Well, I think it is just reflecting the pictures... worse is not possible. But better keep it quiet, because with the course tomorrow in Hagen, with the root trails, the humidity and the rain I´ll have the same problems for sure. But who cares???
