Early on Sunday morning at 7:00AM, I pushed my mate Leo, out of
his bed to travel to North Rhine Westphalia by heavy rainfall
We´re all thrilled, in the hope of a wondeful mud-race.
But the rain stopped, when we stood at the starting line and the
countdown began….
MASS START...and Leo in the first line to loosen up the light
of the colorful team jerseys and to get himself out of the line
of fire, because a lot of people still think, that on marathon
only the 500m counts.
By all the neverending heavy uphill parts, I passed Leo somewhere,
because he wasn´t able to follow the speed of the „old´s“.
The downhill parts were marginal muddy and attracted a lot of
participants to kiss the ground. Luckily, both of us, didn´t crash.
Leo became 6th and his old dad 14th in each age-group.
To be honest, my bolide, isn´t able to close down on mud... So,now
we´re looking forward for the mountain sprint race in Driburg
and of course for better weather.
Chain mostright and
see you soon,
André und Leo
