RAIN…what else? And of course…No wet suit !!!The Kirchsee is shallow
and gently sloping – no wonder: the water at the shore is real
warm, but therefore in the middle of the lake all the more colder
!
Settting up the transition area really fast and off, for the swim
start...
All the 500 triathletes were divided in starting groups,but because
of the forbiddance of the wet suit, we all went very hesitent
in the water - and were really glad about the starting signal
for the 1500m of swim.
Movement for heating up !
These are not my goose bumps, this is just pure joy hitting the
shore again.
On the 40km bike course are some increases so steeply, that some
of the guys had to push their bike up the hill or tried it with
riding wiggly lines.
   
The worst thing worse, that you had to pass this point…twice…
Just on the fast downhill parts, the roads weren´t dried up yet,
because all the streets lay in forests and were very dangerous
because of that...
SO, you understand that the joy of finishing after the torture
on the bike and the closing 10km run, is really big, to finish
save and healthy.
