Olle knows what a princess wants and likes. So, he rented a caravan
and off he go to the Sauerland. The goals were clear, 1x the Rocks
Mountain Marathon and 2x the Scott Junior Trophy. He already took
a look at the podium, but things often different from what we
expected.
Olle wanted to ride as long and hard as he could before topple
down, so he did an easy start to finish at least the middle distance.
Well, loosing his bottle after 5km and was thirsty all over the
race. But of course we´re a big family, talking to Jost and the
other Pirates and received something to drink and were able to
get to the lodging point and got the well used bottle of a mate.
CHOKE. Thank you…Sadly, it was all over for me 10km before the
finish because I had a flat tyre an my tubeless, and had to inflate
it very often, so nothing with the middle distance, but it was
a nice thing to met so many friendly Pirates on the course. That´s
the way it makes fun…
Victor (AG 11) fighted in the Scott Junior Trophy and finishes
on a good 20th place overall from 75 starters and was totally
exhausted afterwards.
Leo (AG 15) wanted a cup and after waiting for hours it was time
for him to start...but he gor the wrong race tactics from Olle
and so everything went wrong after the second round. After he
start he was in front but than he couldn´t get away from the others
and became slower from round to round, so it was only enough for
the 5th place.
Afterwards by strolling and shopping everybody was able to laugh
again. Britti didn´t find a shoe store,,but take a look at Ron´s
things and to talk rubbish makes also fun.
