Schalkenmehren was my first strike, and the second will follow very soon...

At the 22th of august 2010, I jumped very early in the morning at 7:00o´clock on my bike, to tide to Wörrstadt, because I wanted to particpate on an olympic distance triathlon there. And with my brand new Pirate bathing cap, nothing could get wrong , or? We started with 1000m of swimming, if you ask me, all olympic distances could have the swim length of only 1000m ;-) I did these 1000m in 22minutes, and was very proud of me, with this fast time for me… Than I got on the bike, where I didn´t push the pedal really hard, as usual, but I didn´t have to wait before a railroad crossing, like two years ago, and after 40km and 1:18h I came back to the transition area.Because their were 5 different starting groups, I didn´t knoe exactly on which place I was, nor if I was in front or far away. The running course was very ambitious, it was a constantly up and down, with temperatures around 30degrees and not much shadow, so I really enjoyed my time of 47:39minutes. Later, I was told, that I won the race - I couldn´t believe it. Again, an overall triathlon victory, and that´s with a roadbike... With a good friend of mine, and as well my fearest rival Esther ( she finished 2nd, after she took me 5minutes on the swim part), after the race. Somehow, you can see in out faces the labor of today… This was the last triathlon for me this year, thank I´ll to say thank you to Lili and Tanja for the pictures J And end of september after my holidays, I´ll run a half-marathon… I´ll report you… Doro Swim: 00:22:00h, 1st change: 00:01:28h, bike: 01:18:37h 2nd change, 00:01:08h, run: 00:47:39h, overall 02:30:52h
