Participating and riding a 8h race together with his son in a two men team,is a very large pleasurable feeling. My other son Victor finished on the day before on the 3rd place. Well, the weekend started quite well for us. The other stuff from the race, you already were able to read at the bulletin of “ Moni”. The other 2-men teams got a better tactic than us at the race. They changed every round, but Leo wouldn´t be able to manage it like this. He did a really good job and rode the longest and hardest race of his young life. I would have been faster, but I had to keep an eye on Leo and of course on Moni. The ways were all muddy and I had to ride in front to flatten the way. It worked, and Moni were able to win this race invulnerably, with my help, even it looked like sometimes during the race, that she wanted to become the “ World best banana eater”… ;-). During the race we talked the whole time, as you can see. After the winner-ceremony of Moni, I stood accidental at the sausage-stand and whosh, she was gone...
