Harburg the 2nd part, as long as I remember my thoughts:

After Benita(7th place)  (as fast as light) and Robert (4th place) been so busy, was it mine and Ron´s part at the last race of the day. Wait´n see, how my „Steppenwolf“ will manage the forest course, it is something different with more than 50m of altitude... als …than riding all flat with some piece of wood in your way. It was very hard for me to break the habit of being afraid of water of my bike before the start. Thank godness the 2nd Christmas Day only brought some light drizzle and the ground in the forest was easy to ride on. The bright orange jersey makes you really fast, I was able to pass the guy ahead of me on a uphill section and was also able to gain a large gap to him as well. Finally first again, after such a long time, thought came up from the past...  The one and only first.... I reached the finish very fast, supported by lots of spectators and grabbed myself the camera: THe course in the forest of Heimfeld with the Waasenbergen and the „ Reiherhügel“ was one of Ron´s favorite, he liked it so much, that he rode an extra round... While you got U-turns, it is a good place to get some good pictures of terrified faces, and on the next picture he is so fast, that he seems to be a ghostrider. After the race we rode easily over the Kattwyk-bridge and thru the old Elb-tunnel. Than I took a bath with my new bike, if not, the new Pirate stickers won´t fit. Don´t your dare laughing about my 30gear on my bike, but at the next mountain race…I´llshow you…   Mell Movie from Willy: Robert brought a gun to knife fight...
