2nd public utility company children and family triathlon

Offspring-pirate Tim Imay, Tim(9) decided for himself, that the sport, his father works out during the summer couldn´t be that hard. So, it was time for his first triathlon in Düsseldorf over the distances of 50m swim, 2.5km bike and 450m run. Tha it was time for him, at the 10th of September, it was a bright sunny day. As a experienced swimmer, he took no time to warm up, warm up is totally overrated… First out of water, he was heading fort he transition area. But in the transition area his head start melted, because he got problems to close his helmet… But he tried really hard to chase and to pass the others again on the 2 loop course. Finally on the running course, he mobilized all his strength. And he finished on the 8th place from 28, at his first triathlon and 3rd in his age-group. Exhausted, but proud and happy. Next year, he´ll attack again, let´s get ready for the year of 2012. Marco Schröder
