SKS-Cup in Wetter/Ruhr

In line with the bike-festival at the 17th of july 2011, we drove this time more than 350km to Wetter/ Ruhr. But the weather wasn´t very good, it rained all night, so you had to ride in the morning on a very wet and muddy course, and before the start I had to clean my bike, because of it. But the start wasn´t that good for me, but finally after the first round I rode from the 5th to the first place. But only a few moments later I was passed by Sven Pieper, but I didn´t try to hold me, I just rode my speed. The mud and the course was very hard for the bikes and their riders as well, but luckily I was able to finish this race on the 2nd place. Because I choosed the right tyre and tight pressure ( Conti X-ing with 2 bar) and a right fixed fork frame, I think I was able to ride this good, without so many problems.
