Hello, you travelling people,

One of the best things of the bike-festival in Willingen is, that you meet lots of friendly folks like Gaby and Ron, the van Ellen´s, Jost, Andrè, Stephan, Willy and some more you can talk to… According to the last years, I think, even the weather was a little bit better, you even remarked on the mudless course on Sunday.   I was able to sleep half an hour longer, because my start way at 8:00o´clock and also I received a breakfast at the hotel… I wanted to ride the short distance with 52km and 1600m of altitude.   After the start, you went in the first traffic jam on the way up the hill to Eimberg. ON the peak you turned left into the forest and everybody in front of me, started to push their bikes uphill. I didn´t quite get it why and it was really godawful.   They changed the courses, according to last year.   After all, it made lots fun, elsewise on the last 15km my musles around the right knee turned sour, it was a little bit un-comfortable, but at least, I made it to the finish.
