Kitzenhaus-run in Aachen Hahn

We started at the „most beautiful“ run in the region on Pentecoste Monday, at the Kitzenhaus-run in Aachen-Hahn, on the the start: Timika and myself. After being absent for more than 2 years, Timika(312) started over the 300m distance at the Bambini-run. The slogan of the run was: chasing the hare… Without taking time alomost 40children started at the Bambini-run, really high motivated on the round around the sporting field, to earn a medal and one more thing, a really tasteful chocolate roll and of course being cheered by their proud parents. After hte run a group-picture. Picture group Bambini A little bit later I started on the 10k  hilly course, the organizer said the maximum acclivity was 13% and altogether you ran 138m of altitude. After 2km I was on the 2nd place always in sight the women before me, but un-reachable, and after 40:46min I crossed happily the finish-line on the 2nd place overall.. The run was chosen by the runners last year, for the most beautiful run of the region. The organization, the location, the course, the food and beverages supply was at its best, at this event. Also for me, it was one of the most beautiful event. Even the fan-club was satisfied. The winner ceremony was shortly after the race and with a fantastic atmossphere..
