Harz-cup Altenau at the 22.5.2011

With a real good feeling and highly motivated, I travelled early in the morning to the Harz. At the first race of the Harz-cup, I wasn´t able to participate, because of a broken bike. And I also got some problems at the last races, because of small damages, and because of this I wanted something more…I was really fraught about the race, because I changed my exercise a little bit. The start on the 38km distance was really fast. Andre Z. and myself, worked together right from the beginning and so we were able to bring a gap between us and the others. In the two-third of the race, their was a little moment of shock, the chainfell off on a downhill section, but luckily Andre waited for me and after 5seconds we were able to go on. 15minutes before the end of the race, I thought to myself now or never and pushed my pedals and were able to gain 10seconds until the finish-line. Luckily I could ride this time on a safe bike on which I could abandon on, thank you Christian. Lots of greetings, Thomas Z.
