2nd duathlon in Dachsen at the Blausteinsee

Already in the middle of april, Sveny and chiKKen started at the 2nd duathlon of Dachsen at the Blausteinsee. ChiKKen already started here last year, but for Sveny it was the first time. We had almost perfect weather conditions, when we started for the 3rounds and 5,4km´s. ahead in front of the winner of the previous year, chiKKen came half a minute after her to change for the two flat, but windy bike rounds. On the bike course, Sveny remarked, that she got not that much bike exercise in her legs, only 4 times she rode this year her bike, so she took the curves slow and soon was catch by chiKKen. But at least she rode a 33,6km/h average and came back to the transitions area on the 4th place at the women´s race, chiKKen already got off his bike after 37minutes and started for the last two running rounds. ChiKKen needed exactly 16minutes for the last 3,6km and crossed the finish line after 1:14:37h as 50th overall and 8th in his age-group.   Sveny endedn up on the 4th place in the women´s race with a time of 1:16:18h, but she won her age-group.
