Finally a bulletin, everybody is waiting for from the cross-race in Buchholz and our annual general meeting AGM

It was a wonderful day, right in the middle of january and several Pirates found their way to Buchholz, to partipate at the cross-race and to have some fun. I just “cleaned” my bike….and off we go to Buchholz J First the kids started, with Werner´s son on the stasrt, and he did his very best. Good job Bosse, well done. Robert was out security man for our camp site, and admired Benita, while she´s passing by and prepared himself mentally for his race, later that day, where he was aloud to start in the team-jersey. Heather started as usually from far behind and fought her way up to the 4th place overall. Respect… Benita started from the front and finished this race on the 2nd place, which means, she ended up on the 3rd place in the overall ranking. Respect as well… Thomas Zühlke finished on the 10th place at the pro´s race. Willy and Jana arrived also, to support us very loud..... After all that, the main race came to its start : hobby class men, women and seniors… Just for this race, I packed my beloved bike, my „ Raven2 “, grabbed as well some new Team Pirate-jerseys out of the dungeons and also tried some of this pills: Anabol Loges. …but even with a kiss from my wife Gaby, I weren´t able to reach my goal that day, to finish before Rainer, it wasn´t enough, he finished only 20m before me Stephan and his cross-bike in disguise, lost his shifting gear during the race and wasn´t able to finish the race. Werner Schwedt was the fastest of all senior-Pirates and finished on the 4th place. Jost was able to finish on the 9th place at the men´s race, and so he was the fastest hobby-Pirate… Björn just realized that two senior citizen rode before him: grandfather Rainer and grandfather Ron… Hakan was in a strangly good mood that day…maybe he ate all the mushrooms on the side-walk??? ….and Rainer looked the same way, how I felt when I rode this part, like shit....but he reached his personell goal…to end up and finish before me… How far is it ??? The course wasn´t really exciting for us MTB´s Picture, just to proof.... Werner used on the down hill sections, his optical advantages….are these “YPS-GLASSES”, to see right thru clothes??? If you take a closer look at the course, you could be able to ride faster…at least, if you got really good brakes at the end of the downhill-part… Even Robby K. wasn´t able to reach his goals, he just finished on the 3rd place and so...he lost becasue of that the leading position in the overall ranking of the cross-cup. The following AGM of our club was again really interesting and the chili, was really good as well. Greetings Ron
