14th of august, a date right in the middle of summer, but all wet and rainy date for the 13th Stevens Cup in Buchholz.

We had at least one Pirate in each starting group: Pro´s, seniors, juniors and hobby-class and everyone received a forest-mud-fango-application.

Myself was the only exemption, I was the only female Pirate, and we had good weather at out start at 9:30o´clock. Their wasn´t very much females on the race, only 10 of us and only the 6 ahead of me, started with a license and I hold very dogged the rear wheel of a Team Springe rider, but she escaped me and finished 22seconds ahead of me on the 6th place. But Lucky me, the race was also the National Championship of Hamburg, and I became the vice-champion, until next year another women will fight for it with me again.

The course was really good, when it was dry, the downhillparts, the single-trails and shot but hard ascents and hard curves with 90 or 180 grade, only on the home straight, we had bitumen. And in the doenhillparts, you had still place to pass, when you´re not scared of tree-trunks ot roots.
At the over 30 race, Stephan was on the start and chased Lars Erdmann on the first downhill part. When you search a good lace to take some pictures, the raindrops are really fresh, but for myself, I used to get a hot shower at home.

After 5rounds with each 3,5km, he ended up on the 11th place, but he was the only starter in the field with a fully on this muddy course. Luckily the cakes and pies in the finish area were under a tent, and I ate one cake for each round I made.
