Cycletec time trialover 33km at the 02/06/2011

Who organizes a time trial on Mother´s day, should organize it, as well on Father´s day. So, this meant, grab your time trial maschine. This time we had to ride 33km. As well, we had a small inner team fight, between Marco of the Pirate Crew Rhein Ruhr vs. Robert alias chiKKen of the Team Pirate Juliacum...but later more. The weather conditions were really comfortable, 23degrees and lots of sunshine. 48 riders, wanted to participate at this race, and we had lots of PIRATE support. 11.11 Uhr Rock'n'Roll, I had to start, the gust of winds of last time, became a constand wind, which didn´t make things easier, and Robert startet only 4min after me, so I had to power on… Because the race, was a turning point race, we became to see each other, and saw, that nothings happened with the gap, so, the race would be decided on the last meters and the final spurt.   Here you can see our time-table of our laps: - Robert  (0:17:30 / 0:17:42 / 0:17:32 ) 0:52:44 min  37,55 km/h in average - Marco   (0:17:35 / 0:17:43 / 0:17:32 ) 0:52:50 min  37,48 km/h in average Gratulations to Robert, who did a good job on his bike, he won this race with 6seconds in advance. In the main age-group, Robert ended up on the 4th place (14points) and myself on the 5th ( 13 points) of 10starters. In the overall ranking I made my way to the 3rd  place after 4 races with 41points and Robert is after his first race with 14points on the 12th place. At the 23rd of june, we had to bite on our teeth again, than we´ll do again 33km. All results and informations on www.cycletec.de Marco Pfeifers
