Düsseldorfer Deichlauf im April

Düsseldorfer dike run in april It was planned as a power unit for the next duathlon, and so we started with about 113 starters on the 10km distance. Everything went good on the first km´s, right along the river Rhine, watching the ships passing by, fine until the 4km point, where I remarked something was wrong with my right sole of the foot. A bloodblister, thank you sox. Auf den ersten Kilometern war alles gut, immer schön am Rhein lang, Schiffe gucken, bis sich dann kurz vor Kilometer 4 die rechte Fußsohle bemerkbar machte. I tried to ignore it, but after 8km, I wasn´t able to ignore it anymore and my feet, was happy again, when we passed the finish line after 45:30min.   Lucky me I still finished on the 3rd place in my age-group and 27th overall, when I took a look at my blister, it was big as 2€ coin.
