44th spring time run in Düsseldorf

Hello Pirates, at the 03/04/2011, I started over 5km at the spring time run in Düsseldorf! Because I ran there, a few years ago my very first running contest, I wanted to know it how it still feels like, even with the time trial in my legs from the day before. Exact at 9:45 o´clock, the strting signal came, while we had foul weather that day. Most of the course you ran on bitumen, and was really fast, even the course got lots of corners and curves, only the firrst meters after the start were not that easy, because the way way quiet narrow and complicated, if you not wanted to run thru the botany. With a little bit help of my elbows, I was able to gain me some space. The last 300m of the course, were on the dir track at the local sport field. After 19:51min I crossed the finish line and ended up on the 6th place in my age-group of 11 and in the overall ranking I took the 22th place of 92 starters, and by the way, I gotta say, it was a really good and well-organized contest.   Marco Pfeifers
