Hello Pirates

A good friend of us, Hakan from the „ PIRATE TRIATHLON TEAM“ is on his was on his roadbike from Damlos, near Fehmarn to Cologne… Friday 13th of may:18:300´clock That Hakan is nutty, we already knew that, but this time, we were all amazed of him… The day before yesterday, my phone belled and Hakan told me following story:   I posted on the Facebook site of 1.FC Cologne( once, Hakan used to be a guy from Cologne), that, if you´ll win the last match, I´ll ride with my bike to Cologne, next day came the answer: won the race- beer is cold, when will you arrive??? After a few more mails, I knew that I would start my trip on Friday the 13th of may, 550km. Of course, I told Hakan on the phone, that I would support him, and than we searched for some team players living near his route. I was the first, that was sure, and I wanted to conduct him for 100km, sadly, Hakan already was totally delayed when he arrived here, so I was only able to support him with some stuff and goods, because I had not time anymore. But at least, we had some time for some bread roll with fish ;-) Afterwards he rode thru the old Elb-tunnel on his way towards Cologne. In this moment (19:00) he passed Buchholz…I´ll report you about his trip… Ronald Prinzlau
