05/06/2011 Griesson – Debeukelaer oldtown run in Kempen

Under a bright sunny sky with lots of sunshine and sweltry temperatures, which reminded you of summer, you had to run on a angled oldtown course thru Kempten on cobble stone pavement, parc ways and thru the pedestrian area two rounds with each 2,5km. The contest was really good organized and the starting signal was on point, and so I could´t brake myself to run the first km in under 3:30min, which should be take revenge really soon, and after 2,5km and 9:14min I was on the 7th place overall. But than I broke down and ran the second round in 10:12min and ended up on the 13th place overall of 157 starters with a time 19:24min and in my age-group I finished 5th of 25. Marco Pfeifers
