Cross in Kiel

Last weekend Robby and myself travelled to Kiel, to participate at another race of the Stevenscup. Finally I was rid of my cold, but I still got heavy legs and sour muscles, but, as you know: Pirates don´t know any kind of pain…

While we got really wonderful november weather with heavy fog, our team clothes were right: light blue together with bright orange, so you don´t need any lights to be seen.

The start was delayed and so I hadn´t the possibility to get to know the course, but I still got time during the race to get to know it and I forgot my sour muscles.
Soon in the first round, I was able to get on the 3rd place in the field. With the help and cheers of the apectators I was able to defend the place and also were able to gain a larger gap to the lady behind me.

Without any crash, I was happy and satisfied with reaching the 3rd place. Now, while my race was over, I was able to cher to my darling, who had a start with chaos but was able to stay on the bike and fastly went into the forest and he was only defeated by Danno.

The point of the story: I still got to learn very much, but I get better every time I sit on my bike, spezial thanks at this point to my coach J
Next weekend we got two races in Bremen on our schedule and than we´ll participate at the Cup of Germany in Frankfurt.
