Cycletec time trial 08/05/2011

Hello Pirates, Mother´s Day…it´s time again, the 3rd run of the Cycletec time trial over 22km. The Mother´s Day, the heavy wind, the marathon in Düsseldorf and the triathlon in Buschütten reduced the amount of starters on only 31. Maybe I got a chnce to reach some more points for my ranking. It would be nice… J As I said before, mother earth blowed hard this day and only a few guys were able to ride their personnell best time this day. In the first round a rode 17:22 and everything went good, but in the second round I lost 20 seconds ( 17:42), but I´m satisfied with my time of 35:04 and an average speed of 37,6km/h. I ended up on the 4th place of 6 in my age-group, the elite, so I could add 14 points to my ranking, now Im on the 4th place overall, it would be nice, if I would end up there at the end as well ;-), but the strong competitors will fight back for sure. At the 2nd of june, the course will be a little bit longer, 33km and 3 rounds, and hopefully without wind this time. All the dates and results on:  http://www.cycletec.de     Marco Pfeifers
