52th cross-race in Parchim

At the 23.10.11 we travelled to the annually cross-race in Parchim, next to us, were as well on the starting line, a pro, Andre Greipel. The weather was wondeful and the course was in a good condition. And this course reminds me more on a BMX or MTB-course than a cross-course, with its increases and fast donwhill parts, it was the right course for myself After the start I glued myself at the back wheel of Andre Zamponi, who led this field and won this race last year. During the 3rd round, their were some positions changing at the men in front, and for a short time I was the leader, just to get back on the 2nd place shortly, and Andre was in 3rd position. And on theis standing, nothing changed until the finish and so, this race became my best cross-result ever. Afterall I gotta say, it was a wonderful course an event and special thanks for the support and the pictures to the “ Zamponi´s”. Thanky you. Lots of greetings Thomas Z.
