Hallo!

On  saturday the 30th of july 2011, I got the bike-marathon in Pfronten on my schedule. After I thought for a while, I decided myself to ride the extreme-course, with 70km and 2700m of altitude. The weather forecast for that day wasn´t the best, and soon after the start, it started to rain. Shortly after the start, we had to ride up the Breitenberg with 900mof altitude to ride at once, after that,we had a fast downhill part towards Edelsberg, where you had to ride uphill, with 700m of altitude again.After this small „hill“, called kingdom of heaven, and another 400m of altitude up the Breitenberg again,but this time from the south side. This uphill part was followed by a 1700m of altitude fast downhill part back to Pfronten. Up on the Breitenberg, we got fog, and sight distance near zero, but after all, it was a wonderful contest. My riding time was: 4:05h, and I ended up on the 33rd place overall and on the 16th in my age-group. Greetings Jens
