P-Weg 2011

It is always nice and wonderful, to meet the family again. We already rrived this year on Friday, while the rest arrived on Saturday for the first informal briefing. ;-) first Pirate Jost arrived, who wanted to compete and win the double-assessment this year, but only reached the 6th place, but respect... Thomas Preißner was the second Pirate to finish the half-marathon with a time of 1:46:21h and ended up in his age-group (M45) on the 2nd place, respect my friend. Cock Thomas while he´s vaporing… In the evening we made up our own Pizza-Party, damn it, it was really delicious... On early sunday morning we travelled with the „ Van Ellen Racing Van“ from Stede´s decent home to the start. The we were able to find and met the „vulture“ in his mental preparations. Sadly, he crashed later during the race of the long distance, he slipped on bitumen and partially fractured his thigh, so he had to stay in the hospital of Plettenberg for monitoring. Get well soon Peter… Moni  and Andre like always in a good mood… Jubilee spare rider Danno, still sunken in a tactical discussion… ....Hey Thomas this is the front wheel, is should have contact to the ground all the time.... Capt`n Schnuffi were surprised that he were able to receive a starting lot in the last minute, and were really proud of it, that he were allowed to ride with the “ Rat Pack”… Birthday boy Bernhard right before the start of the long distance… . Last greetings from Thomas .... ....and the first advises of Robby K. for the short distance… Moni  already went right thru the cow... ...and Zibo at the final preparations for the start... Here you cann see the whole „ Rat Pack“... Beni and Robby... located a little bit further in the starting field… Finally it was time for the start...of the coursing… Beckon, beckon Stede.... But...still in a good mood.. Now it´s Zimbo´s turn to push his bike as well… But all this happens, if you in a lack of the needing hop. In this cup wasn´t beer, it was Prosecco... Hey Raini, do you know why this thing you got in your hands, is called a BICYCLE??? The last tactical discussions before the home straight... We did it...the lucky rest of the Rat-Pack 2011 ( can´t await 2012 to come) ! Our new Club-Champion Robby K. and Beni. Dano and Moni became our new Club-Champion on the long distance… Stephan did it again and passed more than 1000 other participants… Moni ....Attack !!! This year we were able again to enter some places on the podium. Here you can see Beni… Here you can see Armin Moni fastly got some coffee and needed 20min for that... Gaby ordered our main courses and ahe needed about 50min for that. Now I ask myself, why the stuff is called fast food? Maybe because you´re eating it that fast??? We´re all already looking forward for the next year ! Ron
