Dauntless Running Pirate

Like last year, lots of us “ Running Pirates” participated at the 14th city-run of Senftenberg.

Really determinded started Anna-Maria Mikwauschk, Leonie Lange, Lillian Hoffmann and Nele Skopi for the first time over the 2,5km distance and even were able to reach some places on the podium in the age-group, pupil D.

Michael Bud (M40) and Jörg Mikwauschk (M45) started at the same time and attended on the first round the young runners. Later they ran over the 5 and 10km distance, but before all this, Ryan Mikwauschk ( AG <7) also proved that he is a dauntless Pirate..

He started on the bambine-distance over 500m and did a good job. Just as well the other Pirates, Jan Möller (m40), Steffen Gierth (M35) and Harald Skopi (M30) started at the 2nd scenery run in Wesenstein, which is located in the Müglitz-valley in the saxony swiss, with lots of other tough guys. The course got apparently endless long and steep ascents, as well like technical and amnitious downhill passages. It was a real tough and hard mountain-cross-run over 17km. At the end it was Gierth to be the first Pirate to cross the finish line.
