Hello altogether,

at the 22nd of may I started at the 10th Bikemax Marathon in Siedelsbrunn/ Odenwald over the middle distance of 50k and 1000m of altitude. I already arrived there a day earlier and stayed at the Hotel Maienhof, like the year before and this hotel is only a few meters away of the start/finish. Disregarding of the environment, is this fountain the biggest attraction.. When I took a look outside of my window on sunday morning, the sky told that it would be a wonderful day today. The race also gained a new participant record with 460 starters. This year, you were also able to enjoy the scenery and every meter of the si ngle-trail, not like last year, where everything was gray, muddy, rainy, and, and… This don´t mean the first single-trail( very long). At the start I was far behind, and when I reached the first trail, I wondered why the guy before me is so slow, I only saw, that the other guys before, wasn´t in sight anymore, and when it was possible to pass again, I saw why…A really nice older men, rode leisurely on the way, with his roadworthy Trekking Bike, and was almost exhausted of the roadway arrangement.. But who care´s, it just made fun, and the thunderstorms just began, when I was already on the way home… Cheerio Elvis
