Hey Pirates!
Back I´m: healthy and in good shape from my exercise camp on Tenerife. It was a real success for me, three weeks of scheduled exercise and collecting km´s, it wouldn´t be able at home in good old Germany.

The TenerifeTopTraining (T3) center is really good, they got a 25m pool with 6 lanes and a 50m pool with 10 lanes, and you soon get used to the salt water in it. Awesome, a really good gym…no wishes over.
The region around Teide is really good to ride, and under good weather conditions you´re able to see Lanzerote and Gran Canaria. And not like Furteventura, you don´t have that much wind here, but it´s not easy to ride( Who wants it at all, by the way), because of the constantly up and down on this island.

Running is almost the same as cycling, up and down hill. If you want to run a lttle bit faster, you had to run on the beach promenade. Having said this…It´s not a legend, that lots of older citizen travel to much warmer regions during the winter, becasue the average age here on this island is like 65 and above...

Now I got a whole week of, than I start with my training back at home again, but the next exercise camp is already waiting for me inmarch, I´ll spent my time on Fuerteventura and for my third and last exercise camp of 2011, I don´t know yet, where I wanted to go, but I´m sure, I´ll find a suitable place. J

So, PIRATES, stay tough and healthy and prepare yourself for the season of 2011…countdown is running.
