Getting out of the warm house and back to the district. We used
the cold but sunny Sunday for a ride into the industrial culture
scene.
He´s 18m high, weighs 23tons and was built out of 250 single cast
iron parts and stands on the Nordsternturm of the former coal
mine Nordstern in Gelsenkirchen Horst... the Hercules…
And like this, he keeps an eye since a few weeks over the whole
district.
But soon we went by ridind side by side with the Rhine-Herne-Channel
towards Bottrop.
than we enjoyed on one of the bridges, a tea with “view”…
or should I say a tea with ”shot”, it looks like when you take
a closer look at the picture...
