"Exclusive rights and rights of way“ at the TT in Edewecht

It was time again, for the “ spring wingding of Edewecht” or to say it clear a single TT over 21km. Early Sunday morning, Ronnie, Raini, Bjoerni and “ sister” Moni arrived in Edewecht. Everyone of us, instead of Bjoerni, participated at a 135km RTF, the day before. Maybe, we would be a little bit faster if we haven´t participated at the RTF, but afterall, we just wanted to have some fun, or???   First of all, I tried to find the perfect outfit, I think you all knew this picture… You never know what will happen…I had to start before the others and so I prepared myself for the race… Whew, almost everybody got a carbon fighter jet…damn it, they all must be very rich…so, I just rode my regular roadbike and made me very small and tiny on my bike, even Rainie, Ronnie or Bjoerni could make it like this… Well, the guys missed my start, but at least my “sister” jersey was some kind of eye-catcher…especially at the “Red Cross Van”…LOL Ten minutes behind me, Bjoerni made his way on his fighter jet, and tried to play Pac-Man or better started to play Pac.Man by riding. Didn´t care very much of the wind. It came from every side, no matter in which direction you rode. Sadly, I was very stupid on my first round and missed the official course and had to turn around and get back on the right course again. Meinen Start haben die Jungs mal wieder verpennt - aber das Schwesteroutfit kam gut an - besonders beim DRK- Rettungs-wagen hahaa!! Björn did a really good job… Ron was on his way, when Bjoern and myself arrived at the finish and the last one to start was Rainie. So, we were all able to hold his hands before the start J Finally the “ Transall” was on its way… Ron needed some time, but at least he arrived finally, and I think, he wore teh best outfit that day: Than, it was time for Rainie to reach the finish. Wait a minute, who´s the rapper with the black cap and sun glasses??? After all weh ad lots of fun and I think we reached some good results: Moni: 6th place overall and 1st in her age group, their is still some place for more… Bjoern: 74th place and 18th in his age-group Ron: 82nd overall and 10th in his age-group Rainie: 100th overall and 16th in his age-group  At the team ranking, we ended up on the 12th place. Wasn´t bad after all for such an exercise weekened with lots of fun. We stayed healthy, maybe they all were scared of my „ First Aid“…??? Greetings Sister Moni :-))
