3 Loonies for  Moonreker and the maniac Pirate Enter Crew,

were participating at the 10th 24h MTB-race in the Olympic parc of Munich. On our way to Munich we already rode wate ski on the interstate, but at least we were really lucky by building up the Pirate boot camp. It was nearly dry and we were even able to get the BBQ started so, we don´t had to eat ou meat rare. But during the night the srain startes to pour again, and we had a little creek right thru our camp. The morning we were busy to built up some rain drain out of plastic rubbish sacks, that we were able to ate our breakfast without taking a shower at the same time. Even or maybe because of the bad weather conditions, we had or were ina wonderful mood. At east it was dry at the start of race. Moni should become our mud princess and so it was her part to open up the race for us, together with Michael and some other supernumery she was able to dry up the course and soon we all had to ride our rounds thru the Olympic parc. It was a little bit dull, just riding rounds, but at least we had some fun by cheering up the other who were on the road. Than, in the middle of the night, it started to rain again, just within moments the course was like a huge mud pond. It wasn´t that funny to stand in the rain in the transition area whle waiting for the rider. But after 20h the race was all cancelled by the organizers, because of the fact, that the course was un-ridable. What a pity, we liked to ride some more . We even had to pack our stuff while it was raining and one of remarked that some web´s already started to grow on his finger and feet. But one thing we all know for sure, next year we´re coming back and want to complete this race. On our way back home, we entered one American specialities restaurant. On the very next day, I build up the whole tents again on the  area of my firm, so, that it all dry up again. Conclusion of this weekend: If you staying at home on your couch, you don´t get wet, dirty, cold or tired, but you don´t have so much fun. Florian while wave riding... ...Yes, I can it also.. PIRATE´S Home ...not only riding a bike makes you happy…!! While Thomas, his royalty, tries himself by wave riding… ..we took some time to talk about some technical stuff. Thomas was the best wave rider, I´ve ever seen… Hi Hi hi hi, these are laugh-Pirates Of course we watched our lap times. Bernd is hoisting the colors of the pink Pirates, and he´s really fast….
