place : 5My legs were really good, no pain and I was able to push the pedal really hard. In the beginning I had some problems, because I just arrived only two minutes before the start and crash because I stepped into a hole in the ground and so, I had to fight my way to the front from the far end of the race field. First I thought that they will ride the first 2km easy and soft, but I was mistaken. Thank Godness I got good strong legs and a good working blood pump, which knocked really heavy even in my stomach.
Unexpected constantly I rode the whole race and even was able to pass some stronger riders, it was an awesome feling. At the end I took the 5th place overall with a time of 36:31minutes. I´m satidfied with this result, but not ready yet. Next year, I´ll be hereand better for sure. I´m highly motivated and my team is really looking forward for being the next year in the Pirate Crew.
