What an almost perfect season opener, my 2nd place AG at the city triathlon of Munich

The Olympic Pool promise you a wonderful triathlon ambiance, every year. Even the viewers and spectators are really close to the triathletes at the 500m of swim. . After the swim part you had to ride 5 rounds and altogether 20km thru the Olympic Parc. The course is really ambitious with all its corners and curves. The closing 5km run is a constant up and down on hilly ways thru the Olympic Parc. Because I trained very hard on my running style throughout the winter, I was able to run the 5km more than one minute faster than year.   But I was very happy to reach the finish under these 26degrees humid weather conditions.   You got here a very unusual kind of race agianst the clock, because you start all on you own, without any direct competitors, really a challenge.     Altogether their were more than 1500 participants and I got 145 of them in my age-group, and sadly I missed the first place by 13seconds.   place overall       place age-group   number     name       31                               2                     1819        Daniel   Ritthammer    AG       swim       bike        run        total S1       7:14    25:30    19:26    55:00 min                                                                                                  I like to thank every one of my friends and supporters very much.
