„Twice the  1“

11.11.12 – 3rd run in  Groß Briesen (Cross-Country-Series of the RSV Germania Graeben) Last Sunday was the last race of the cross country series of the RSV Germania Graeben. I was registered for the hobby class race DOB 98 and older and my number was the 11. Twice the 1, but more later… The race should last 30minutes and was started at 13:30o´clock. Shortly after the start I was attacked but I took the lead… Than I wanted to turn on the long straight, than two of my chasers passed me… Than the race began again for me, than on another straight, I was able to pass them again, but one of them catched my rear wheel during a hindrance section, than he started another attack on the home straight, but I was able to counter it and passed him again… Than the gap started to grow and after all, there was the second 1…. For the overall ranking of the cross country series, I´m missing the result of the 1st run… Lars Burchert
