"Moonrookie" at the 25th  Bultensee Cross-Duathlon

...after my dentist renovated my dining room, I had to take a break of exercising and I was very dull of participating at a cyclo crss race, suddenly I had an idea, about this trial, called duathlon, duathlon means two different disciplines, not together, but one after each other, that´s the fact I was understanding, I shoulg get this all together. Of course I registered myself before, but somehow they lost it, allright, everything again… The transponders were not bad at all, they loosen itself after you belt them on. One thing helped and worked, duct tape, or what Torben… Well, yes, Dani and Torben were also here, I ws very lucky about that, now we are three Pirates here on a booty quest. "Fury" already waited form e in the transition area… Than we were being declared about  which way to run, which trees to avoid and how to find our way back. I didn´t get anyway, even because of the fact, that he repeated everything Than it was time, at 11:11o´clock on the 11.11 was the start and because of the date, I dressed myself complete in orange… to run 5km around a pond… Than 200m after the start I was already the last one, yes, running is not m favourite, but I tried to keep in contact or eyesight with Dani until the first change and  made it… While these wonderful women´s tried to feed up the viewers, thanky you by the way, I  made my way to circle around the pond for four times… During the change I was so exhausted of the running that I wasn´t able to get out of my running shoes, bt when I finally got on my bike, I felt home again. Now, full throttle for 10 rounds around the pond, after 3 rounds I was already on the 2nd place and was able to get some more gap on the last 7 rounds, because Istill had torun for another time…I was looking forward to it… The atmosspherewas awesome at this small contest, like you see,almost like in the Weserstadion., wenn Werder is playing… When I come back to the chaotic transitin area, I wasn´t able to find my shoes back again, but when I found them Imade my way to entert he last running distance, but I didn´t know or remembered where to run, first left than right, or opposite? And than back again. In between I thought, that I would get some cramps, and that I wanted to slow a bit, but I was able to run a little bit faster in the last round. This was the reward for all the suffering: *Candies* ... Kölle Alaaf, err Bultensee or something like that...der Lohn für die Schinderei Bei der Siegerehrung wurde dann auch noch ne kurze Büttenrede gehalten und Dani bekam einen Pokal "in der Tüte". Conclsuion: I succeeded with my trial - Moni is still alive – and I had fun! 2nd place overall, 1st place AG ... luckily I hadn´t to run 10 rounds :P ... Dani (1st plce) and Torben (3rd palce )even in the top: Gratulations!!! :-))- Now, the Pirate podium is complete! Speicl thanks to the organizers of this contest, I´ll be coming back again, one time for sure ! First of all: getting rid of the sour muscles :D ... See you soon Greetings Moni Moonreker
