HH-Cityman - We did it!

MAybe anyone of you will remember a date of three triathlon rookies on FB, as a fun-relay-team, fort he Cityman Triathlon in Hamburg. First we wanted to start over the sprinting distance, but all the effort it´s not worth it over such a short distance, so we decided to start over the olympic distance. Than one day Marcell wrote me by Email: Hey, that´s 1,5km of swimming...Well, who care´s...I told him, than he replied, I can´t even swim. Thn Dietmar told him to get his Seahorse swimming adward. And so he did... Marcel while he arrived at the headquarters after his long journey from the south…everything fine…still… Still everything fine on Saturday morning, but at least a little bit more relaxed…. First our runner was called Dietmar, than Leif and than finally Ralf. And because of the change, we decided not to wear the tiger dress... Here you can see the large ocean of Hamburg…17degrees at the start and 14 degrees at the turning point. Fucking cold.... First of all, my drling wanted to start over the sprinting distance. Marcel already tried some doping beverages like “ Venga”. It´s spanish for fast. Re-hydrate stood on the bottle, well, are getting dry, while you´re swimming??? Supporting Ralf: We were in quite a good mood, when we stood at the Alster, until we saw this sign….holy shit… ( More than 40000 sons of the city of Hmaburg lost their life for you.) For the worst case, we already had the rescue buoy… Soon, my darling was already at the finish, with almost no exercise but with quite a good time.He recieved a kiss in the finish and also met an old triathlon of him from younger days. On Sunday morning, Marcel already wore his wet suit, but wasn´t very lucky with it. ...Guess who he is talking to....? First he broke his bathing cap, than almot the 2nd one as well. He was in start block “Ä”...yes...the longet transition area of the world and when even the ABC is to short... Than, everything started: Well??? The guy next to me, does he swim aswell??? Damn it, it´s fuck**** cold !!!!? Whew, noway,it´s just the guy who´s taking pictures... Than we had a large break, no cyclist in the transition area, just me and the last swimmer told, there´s no one anymore in the water. But where is he??? This one took the time to breed... The guy of the motor bike attandant steered at me, I aks him why, he just answered to get to know your number, the last number on the bike course. Marcel totally exhausteed, finally reaching the transition area.He had cramp halfway of the swimming, they wanted to get him out, but a Pirate never gives up....So, Ralf and myself had to go as fast as we can, for s long as we can, and face the pain... ...I almost had to barf before Marcel, when I reached the blue carpet and the end of the bike part, at the end my bike time was under the fastest 50, not last one anmore…. ..and what about my darling, he ran a good time, even in cse of his injuries of the day before, and we can tell mission accommplished... Afterall, we had a super team and had lots of fun, I´m sure we´ll be here next year again and than, I think, Marcel will have his swimming badge. Ahoy Marcel, Ralf and Moni
