Ecco Indoor Trail – 3rd day: The final

A little bit tired of the last days we travelled again to Dortmund on the 5th of february, but this time with a friable feeling. It was time for the final: 10 rounds altogether 12km, were to solve... We started as like the day before, in groups by 4 and every 30 seconds. Even today, the organizers made some start stops, to avoid a crowdy course.  But today the bill wasn´t paid, because you had to run more rounds, it become crowdy again, and so you had some time to relax and recover in front of some hindrances… Despite of or just becuase of the case of the large amount of participants and of course of the viewers and spectators, this event was really fun. When you ran in a moderate way, time passed and the rounds almost fast, just from one round into the next... Next to the endless stairs, counting the rounds was the most difficult part of this event, but finally everyone of us three were able to finish with the right number of rounds. This time Reiner became the fastest of us with a time of 1:11:35h, followed by Henning 1:12:10h and Maren with a time of 1:24:53h, but Maren injured herself on the last rounds. At the end, we ended up after all three days in the mid-field. At this point we like to say thank you to Raphaela for her support and the nice pictures. It was a wondeful weekend and we not only recieved sour muscles and trails from it. In der Drei-Tages-Wertung konnten wir uns dann im Mittelfeld platzieren. Maren, Reiner & Henning
