It was about time gain from the 11.08 until the 18.08.2012.

Finally it was time again for some holidays at Lake Garda. Of course it wasn´t just a holiday for relaxing,it was even time for some biking, and so I rented a 29MTB for two days. A Raven29R was my choice at the FOCUS-Testcenter. I always wanted to ride a 29MTB, I have to say it, it was worth it... On the firstday, I took a trip into the back country of Garda.  I used the service of TrackSpace-Software to find me a trip of about 55km and 1700m of altitude. On the first half I already got more thn1300m of altitude, by having temperatures about 40degrees. Unbelievable. I wasn´t that hot before here at the Lake Garda, in all the years I´m travelling here, But who care´s, there were also some shade in between. When I reached 1100m of altitude, I ttok a break, to coo ldown again a bit, by having an espresso and a ice cold coke in Malga Ime. The last 300m of altitude I rode at the foot of the Monte Sparavero, while having a wonderful view. While having a good eye, you could suspect the Lake Garda on the other side. Even wanderer enjoy themselves while havng a scenery like this. I already rode most of the m of altitude. And what was baout to come? Yes, the software broke down up here and I had to find the way back without the GPS and because of this I haven´t rode the Sperane-trail. You could see in the forest, that it was pretty hot here, because some of the trees burned.... ON the 2nd day, I made a shorter trip with 35km and only 600m of altitude. I was heading north og Garda toward theMonte Luppia. Here you find really wonderful trails, which are really good to ride with a 29. And the scenery was wonderful as well. Later I rode towards Torri del Benaco While you look over the roofs of Torri del Benaco, you got a wonderful sight over the southern part of Lake Garda. It´s really fantastic out here.Lake Garda had become my second home in the last years. Sadly only for just one week in a year.
