"Blutsventje News" Grazer Bike-Marathon Stattegg

Moin Landlubbers, I made a short trip to Graz, to participate at the 11th Grazer Bike-Marathon Stattegg at the 19.08.12. There were riders from more than 22 different countried on the start and found their way into the “ Steiermark” for this race of the UCI MTB-Marathon-Series, of the UEC Mountain Masters of Europe and of the Centurion MTB Challenge. This time I only dared to ride the small-course with 35km and 1309m of altitude. Shortly aftert the start you had to ride a 28%ascent on bitumen up to Leber. Damn it...than it was followed by wonderful trails and some technical downhill parts until the finish. You have to fight really hard to reach the finish after 1:57:26,6h and to enter the 3rd place on the podium. My last MTB race before I´ll start with the cyclo cross season will be the final of the German Bike Masters Series at the ALB-GOLD Trophy in Trochtelfingen at the 07.10.12.
