Obermaubach, 10 km dry or soppy!?

Now, it is the time for the evenings runs. I just keep asking myself, where the summer is, but anyhow, normally thew starts at this time of the season are in the late afternoon. SO, we went at the 14.07.2012 to Obermaubach to participate at the dam lake run. All day long, the weather changed between raining or bright sunshine, just be chased away by dark rain clouds again. Because of this, you should be prepared for everything. Than it was time for the start of the 10km run. Lot´s of other runners warned me before the start of the ambitous course and that I should hold on with my powers and strength´s. The first 3km the course just went uphill, but luckily during the run it was all dry, beside a small shower at the start. Of clourse the ground was all wet and slippery. Right from the start I ran in the first women group, and finally I was able to enjoy the 2nd part of the course, downhill. There was a hard ascent shortly before the finish, but after 41:53min I crossed the finish line, first. Special thanks to Peter Borsdorff, who act form e at the winer ceremony Your Sveny
